Over the past few years, fitness bands have gone from being a niche product to an everyday use wearable option for many of us. With the growing trend, the number of fitness bands also increased, ranging from trendy pedometers to a complete life coach on-a-wrist. These fitness bands are priced somewhere between Rs. 500 to Rs. 30,000 depending upon the looks, styles, and features. We have seen tech companies like Xiaomi and Samsung putting extra efforts into their wearable fitness band products in the past couple of years.
A fitness tracker is a sensor-packed gadget that monitors your health and activity. It measures and records fitness-related metrics ranging from the number of steps taken per day to the quality of your sleep. Most of these fitness bands are paired with fitness apps for both Android and iOS for better visibility of the records.
Our team at ProductBeast has tested some of the best fitness bands available in India over a period of time and come up with the list that might be helpful for you while buying a new fitness band.
1 Mi Smart Band 4
Mi Smart Band 4 is the fourth iteration of the affordable fitness band from Xiaomi. The band has a neat design and looks classy on the wrist. Xiaomi has positioned the Mi Smart Band 4 on the top of the category with 20-days battery life, swim tracking, and an AMOLED display.
During our test, we found the Mi Band 4 comfortable to wear for long hours. The band display was securely fir on the place even while sleeping.
Because of the 0.95-inch AMOLED display, the texts look crisp and readable even under direct sunlight. The touchscreen and capacitive buttons are pretty much well responsive.
You can swipe up or down through screens to see the details of workout, notifications, heart rate, etc. The list can be customized using the Mi Fit app.
The Mi Smart Band 4 is another solid product in the Mi Band lineup. We loved the display, comfort, and tracking accuracy.
2 Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro
The successor of the Samsung Gear Fit 2, the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro comes with some extra fitness-focused features like waterproofing – it can be easily taken up to 50m deep water level without worry. There’s also continuous heart rate tracking, so the device will always keep an eye on how you’re doing.
The Gear Fit 2 Pro looks fantastic on your wrist in terms of design. The beautiful 1.5-inch AMOLED curved display lets you see all your stats nice and clear.
Samsung has opted for a traditional railroad strap with the Gear Fit 2 Pro, which will be familiar to most people.
Like its predecessor, the Gear Fit 2 Pro is capable of tracking a wide variety of activities. That includes walking, cycling, squats, and yoga, as well as using exercise bikes and rowing machines. It also comes with built-in GPS so you can leave behind your phone at home while you go for a run and not to deal with those arm straps anymore.
3 HONOR Band 5
Priced around Rs. 2,500, the HONOR Band 5 is definitely one of the choices to go for when looking for a fitness band. The band offers a vibrant AMOLED display, attractive watch faces and enough fitness tracking features to keep you motivated.

The strap that comes with the band is a high-quality silicon one and has a watch-style clasp which makes it easy to wear. The band is small and comfortable enough to wear it all day long, even when you’re sleeping.
The HONOR Band 5 has 9 workout modes that include outdoor run, indoor cycle, rower and pool swim. Similar to the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro, the HONOR Band 5 is water-resistant up to 50 meters.
